Rao is the Deane Malott Professor of Management and Professor of Marketing and Quantitative Methods, Johnson, Cornell University, Ithaca, New York.    Renowned scholar, author, consultant he is also a Fellow of ISMS and AMA. His research interests lie in the development and application of analytical models for marketing research and marketing strategy. He serves on the editorial boards of several top journals in marketing.
